Atrium Health created a taskforce in 2017 to focus on the development of standard tools and resources to support the appropriate use of opioids. Their journey became a global collaboration and they have shared this work with many other organizations around the world. Atrium Health built an alerting system to address prescribing patterns of opioids by providing critical, objective information at the point of care. This webinar will discuss the development of the PRIMUM platform and methods of identification for patients at high risk for misuse, abuse, and diversion of prescription opioids and benzodiazepines.
